The new Hennepin County Library in Brooklyn Park was one of the local 2016 projects featured in Finance & Commerce’s annual Top Projects series this year.
The front of the library features a butterfly roofline and a wall of windows. “The community and our leadership wanted a building with a strong civic presence,” said Scott. The façade features cut-slate stone, zinc panels and cedar highlights. The building has high-efficiency systems and meets Minnesota sustainable building guidelines. Windows are glazed to minimize summer heat while maximizing natural daylight. LED lighting is programmed to turn on and off as needed. – Finance & Commerce

M3Sixty worked with HGA’s design team on the new Hennepin County Library in Brooklyn Park. The scope was 10,400 SF of Dri-Design panels. The material used for the Dri-Design system was VM Zinc with the Quartz finish. The panels were installed by progressive building systems.
